Puff Pastry Bacon Twists

Soooo you can't really go wrong with puff pastry. And you can't go wrong at all with bacon. When you put it together with a little bit of cheddar cheese, it's pretty much an explosion in your mouth. What I love even more about these are that it has "twist" in the name - soo pretty much meant for W.A.L.T. Anyways, these bacon twists are delicious and the perfect appetizer for any dinner party!

Puff Pastry Bacon Twists
Prep Time: 15 Minutes / Bake Time: 35 Minutes / Serving Size: 28 Twists

Ingredients:

  • 14 Strips of Bacon
  • 1 Sheet of Puff Pastry, Thawed
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375. Place a wire rack on top of a baking sheet with foil - coat spray with nonstick spray.

Cut the bacon in half, lengthwise.

Lightly flour your surface and place the puff pastry on your surface.

Lightly flour the top of the puff pastry and roll the puff pastry into 11" x 14".

Place the cheese across the pastry sheet and lightly roll it in with a rolling pin.

Cut the pastry sheet into 1/2 inch slices.
Place a piece of bacon on the strip.

Twist by starting in the middle and carefully twisting up. Go back to middle and twist to bottom. (I found this to be the easiest way - if you have any other suggestion, make sure to comment!)

Place twists on the rack and place in oven for 30-35 minutes.
